What the free scan checks
A useful first pass—not a legal verdict.
- Images loaded from a different domain or CDN.
- Source URLs and filenames associated with known stock libraries.
- Page locations and duplicate image use across the sampled pages.
- Missing alternative text and other asset-quality indicators.
- The evidence records you should locate before making a decision.
The scanner cannot see private media libraries, invoices, contracts, account licences, removed images, CSS assets hidden from public markup or every page on a large site. A flag means “review this”, not “you infringed copyright”.
